The PADI Rescue Diver Course

The Rescue Diver course is usually combined with the EFR course.

What are the prerequisites?:

To enroll in the PADI Rescue Diver course, you must

ο Be 12 years or older

ο Have a PADI Adventure Diver certification or PADI Advanced Diver (or have a qualifying certification from another organization)

ο Be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years .

Course Overview

In the theory part of this course, we will teach you about self-rescue and diver stress, diving first aid, emergency management and equipment considerations. In 10 rescue exercises in the sea you will learn how to respond to a panicked diver, how to deal with underwater problems, missing diver procedures and how to surface an unconscious diver. You will complete the course with 4 different dive accident scenarios and will prepare an emergency rescue plan for a dive site. After successfully completing the Rescue and EFR course, you'll receive the internationally recognized PADI Rescue Diver certification card.
